Tonight at 19:45 CET, the final of the Norwegian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Melodi Grand Prix, takes place, and whether eMMa Gunnarsen will manage to win depends largely on all of us outside of Norway! Fortunately, aside from being able to watch the whole event live, we will also have the opportunity to vote for eMMa, so here is how to get ready for tonight!
First of all, we hope you have already created your profile on the nrk.no website, which is required in order to vote. If you haven’t, make sure to check out our guide, and create a profile right away! With a created profile, you can vote only a single time, and voting itself is completely free.
As for the broadcast, we can watch it legally tonight, directly on the Norwegian national television’s website. The broadcast link is here, and it starts at 7:45 PM. eMMa will perform seventh out of nine participants. As for the voting itself, it will take place on this page. Even better, the page where you can vote for eMMa is right here. Voting will only be open for 20 minutes, and as we mentioned, you can vote only once from a single profile, and voting itself is free and ALLOWED even for those of us who are not in Norway. Voting will be enabled only after all nine contestants have sung their songs, so it’s best to follow the broadcast tonight, as they will announce the start and end of the voting!
The system is set up so that the viewers’ votes are more important than the international jury’s votes – namely, the jury’s vote is worth only 40% of the total number of votes, while the remaining 60% comes from the audience. It’s time for MMers, and everyone who holds the Gunnarsen family close to their hearts, to show their strength tonight!
